The Deep Flight 502 (DF Aviator) was built as an experimental prototype to fully explore the concept of underwater flight and to introduce the public to the wonders of deep-sea exploration. The submersible is currently de-commissioned. The Aviator version is being replaced by Deep Flight Super Falcon submersibles (production-ready).
